Macro Monday - Underbelly

Macro Monday is easy to play,
snap a macro (or close-up) photo,
post it on your blog
then go to Lisa's Chaos and sign Mr Linky.

Underbelly of a 'Shroom

I found this mushroom a few weeks ago ...

... kicked over in the park as I went for a walk

Love the texture on the underside

Wonderful photos. I love the undersides of mushrooms, they're as varied as the mushrooms themselves.

I've always been fascinated by mushrooms. I love when just out of the blue they pop up. My two year old calls them umbrellas!

Thanks, everyone, for stopping by! Over the course of the last couple years, I found that taking macro shots is my favorite kind of photography ... especially of plants. There's something to be said about being a 'detail oriented' person ... we're not all 'simply' Type A! ;-)
