Newborn King Update

I've had some time to stitch this week and made some decent progress. To the left is where I left off last week. Below is the progress picture.

Since figuring out the charting problems and coming to terms with the color chart, stitching this piece has become fun again!

Don't forget! There's still time to put your name in the drawing for the Artist Trading Card Giveaway!

Beautiful colors! Will it be a nativity scene? I'm impressed you returned to the project after experiencing problems; it's so hard to push through that.

Slowly but steadily it will be done. Looks very pretty!

I too love counted cross stitch on linen but my eyes are not as good as they used to be. About 10 years ago I started stitching the Marilyn Leavitt angels and bought a lot of the patterns. A friend asked where I was going to put them all and I told her I probably wouldn't live long enough to finish them. I have managed to complete six and have about 25 percent completed of a very complicated beaded one but I think my linen size (stitch per inch) is wrong because the beading is not fitting well. I enjoyed so much your blog and will be stopping back by.

Thanks for visiting my place!
