Arboretum - Pinks and Purples

It was so great getting to see flowers in Fullerton, California that I don't get to see in Post Falls, Idaho.

The jacaranda was my favorite tree when I was growing up. They formed a floral canopy along a full block. I got to walk through that magical forest walking to and from school. The buds that dropped would pop underfoot.

One end of the pond was covered in water lilies. Koi and turtles swam just beneath the surface.

Then, in the shadows, these striped beauties bloomed.
