It happens every time, be it a local school bond or a national election like now. Standing in line with my fellow citizens, anticipating, knowing that we're likely voting for different candidates.
These Idahoans are good people. Hard working. Caring. We're in it together. Being polite. Holding on to good humor and civility.
Voting.
I feel the elation each time I place my sticker over my heart. This is my kind of patriotism.
