Studio 31 - Day 2

My energy has been pretty low all day, so I decided to spend my Studio Time doing some quiet stitching. This project is the next design in my 2006 Cross-Stitch calendar, some sunflowers for September.

This is my starting point as of 10am

After two hours, I finished all of the first flower and about 3/4 of the petals on the second flower, along with another leaf. I kept my brain occupied by watching several interviews by Charlie Rose, and an episode of Hercule Poirot. Quite satisfying.
