Succulent

Earlier this week I had a ton of tasks to complete, but my body was tired and dragging. So I made myself a bargain that if I could get ten of the 23 tasks done, I could get myself a reward.

With that prize in front of me, I ended up getting my first ten tasks done before noon! I wasn't certain what kind of reward I wanted, but I went to the store and this beautiful green and bright purple succulent called out to me.

This is a beautiful reminder that if I can push through my "gotta do" list, there is a beautiful piece of life on the other side. This lovely little #cornerofmyhome resides on the dining room table.
