I've added this new photograph to Creative Journey in my Photography section, IceMy husband gave me the idea to photograph ice. But how to make it unusual or appealing?
I put the ice in a pretty glass bowl, then put four layers of gold cellophane over a table lamp and placed the bowl on top, lighting the ice from below. I like the sharp-edged, crackled texture of the ice up against the rough texture of the wall behind it, and the glow of the light from below.
