I added this new photograph to Creative Journey in my Photography section, Rhodies at DuskNo explanation today. Just saw these beautiful blooms, tiptoed up my neighbor's driveway, and took a photo. This neighbor has red, pink and white rhododendrons in their front yard, all in full bloom.
It's been quite warm lately. Got up to 94 degrees today. So I've been taking my walks later in the evening. I'm not catching the light quite right, though ... the sun goes down and the air cools, but the light is too low for superb shots. I ought to try getting out just 1/2 hour earlier when everything is still glowing.
