Flamingos in the Snow

I've been a little under the weather this weekend, so spent the time in my pajamas, hanging out in my comfy chair in the living room and crocheting. Through the window and out of the corner of my eye, I saw a line of pink ... somethings. So I took a closer look.

A flock of flamingos had gathered in my neighbor's yard! What's a girl to do but grab her camera, put on the long lens, and take photos from the safety of the bedroom?

They do look content!

The flocking is part of a fundraiser by our local Kiwani's Club. It goes on all over town.
