I added a new photograph to Creative Journey in my Photography section, Double RainbowThe further east we drove from the airport toward Idaho, the stormier it became. Just as we approached downtown Spokane by freeway (Division Street is Spokane's main north/south corridor), a double rainbow appeared in the sky.
This was an amazing sight. It's not uncommon to see one end of a rainbow here. But rarely do I see the full rainbow's arc. This was one of those rare evenings. The full arc of the bright rainbow could be traced through the cloud cover from north to south over the freeway. Most of a shadow rainbow's arc could be traced just beyond the bright arc.
