Today is Jodie's birthday. She asked me to make her a strawberry pie instead of a birthday cake. I've not made one from my mom's recipe in YEARS. I just finished it and I think it turned out GREAT. We'll see when we taste it.
But ... hmmmmm. I do love my mom's strawberry pie. I just hope I don't take on that shape!
