A New Day Dawns

This quote reminds me of another by the character Anne Shirley in Anne of Green Gables who said,

Tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it.

As a teenager, I used to wake up and wonder, "Is this the day I'll meet the man I marry and spend my life with?"
(No. I didn't meet him until my 30s!)

There is something just great about a new day. A new chance. Perhaps some magic is just around the corner.

And perhaps, just perhaps, that magic resides in me. Perhaps it's not magic at all, but it's the hope that good and new things can come about in my life if I just start toward my dreams and put one foot in front of the other.

This day I've been given
is my day to start livin'
so I'm jumpin' in.
