The wedding sampler is really coming along nicely! Today I was able to stitch the hearts and the rest of the Xs and Os and the remaining ribbon. Then I charted out "Jeanne + Mathew 09-20-07" and started stitching it.Sure hope I don't have to wait a long time for the fibers to arrive. I'm a little bit tempted to stitch the word "Sure" in a slightly darker shade of the green. I think that would work, too. But I'm going to give that idea several days to gel. Having the final word a darker color AND the names/date all on one side may make the right side of the sampler visually heavier than the left side. So I'll have to think that idea through carefully.
This pattern has certainly been a pleasure to stitch!
