It's been a while since I've completed another quilt top for St. George's Quilters. The group has given me a different job recently. I now get to help lay out / design the quilt tops with my good friend Susan. She and I laid this one out over a month ago. But it took me a while to make the time to sew it together.With this quilt top, we were trying to use up a bunch of fabric pieces where there were not a lot of any one fabric left. We picked mostly blues and reds where the design had something to do with a farm. To me, this quilt reminds me of a harvest with flowers, people and food to share.
