I added this new photograph to Creative Journey in my Photography section, Embroidery: Trolley Needle
Do these look familiar?
I think that in one of the more recent Batman movies, Catwoman wore trolley needles on all 10 fingers.
But beyond clawing the eyes out of one's enemies, this tool is good for laying threads.
See how we are? First we strip the threads, then they get laid!
Laying threads means to stroke them with a laying tool or trolley needle so that the threads lie on top of the fabric side-by-side. This gives better coverage of the ground cloth than threads that are twisted together.
