I managed to do this today. I called up an acquaintance and asked her out to lunch. We ended up enjoying each other's company and talking for about four hours.Seemed we both craved some company after having been snowbound.
So, it's a challenge. Take a chance and give an acquaintance a call. You might get to become friends.
