Daughter Jodie's job has morphed. She now works part time, so has afternoons free to do All The Things.
One of the things she's chosen to do is have crafternoons with me every Monday. For the last three weeks, we did separate things together. She's working on a collage journal. She gets the New York Times Sunday paper. Each week she makes a spread of news highlights.
She also shaped my eyebrows. What a sweetheart.
Me? I was a little oversaturated after the last three days of painting, so instead of crafting today, I gave myself a hot wax treatment on my hands and cleaned up my fingernails.
The best part is simply spending time together, sharing stories, laughing, and hugging.
