Flowers of the Forest Floor

Three weeks ago, the forest floor was covered with these delicate purple flowers. I think they're called Douglas' grasswidow.

I walked the trails again today. The purples are gone. Arrowleaf balsamroot and yarrow have replaced the purple with bright yellow.

Perhaps I can get some photos of them before the forest floor changes again.
