Let's play another version of "Guess This Texture".
I took this photo with my digital microscope. Hairy. Thorny.
Did you guess a seed pod weedy thing?
I think if might be some kind of thistle. Maybe a milk thistle? It's extremely pokey. I couldn't carry it in my hand. I had to tuck it into the hood on the back of my sweatshirt to get it home.
I think the thorns that contrast with the puffy seed pod make for an interesting combination.
Nature is fabulous.
