Phase One is Done

Our deck is built! It's huge and lovely. I sit out each morning to write in my journals and do some reading. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

Phase two involves moving a few more rocks, digging out some rogue sod, putting down a weed block, laying some stone or gravel under the faucet, adding lattice, and perhaps replanting phlox in the planter. This is my inspiration:
