Skeleton Wreaths

My daughter Jeanne and I started getting in the Halloween spirit when we got together and made these skeleton wreaths.

  • We started eight inch green floral foam wreaths.
  • We first covered them in burlap so the green wouldn't show
  • Then we wrapped them in a black mesh that had some sparkle running through it.
  • We took a couple two foot plastic skeletons apart at the joints
  • Then we attached the bones to the wreath using black chenille stems (pipe cleaners)

My skeleton is fairly staid.

But Jeanne's is a very friendly skeleton that greets all comers with a dance and a wave.
