Quilted Heart #16

I was able to finish up four more Quilted Hearts during the last week of January. Here's the first.

This heart has a white background with a red hearts and flowers print. I appliqued a red fabric heart offset on the left and surrounded it with red seed beads. A small heart on lower right has an embroidered outline using red floss. I used a thin red satin ribbon for the hanger. It's held in place with a small red button. To finish it, I pinked the edge, then sewed the front to the back with backstitching using more of the red floss.

This one is special.
