This, indeed, is a sweet heart. It's a bit smaller than the other hearts I created ... because the scrap of fabric I used was small. Adapt!
I started with a fabric featuring a white background with a red hearts-and-dots print. I tried something new by using a double layer of ribbon down the front. The wide shiny white ribbon on the bottom is sparkly, with an iridescent sheen. That ribbon is topped by narrow red satin ribbon printed with silver hearts. I added three small white buttons down left side and a red satin ribbon hanger. The front is sewn to the back using white floss and a buttonhole stitch.
Ready to go out into the wild!
