Day 468: Stop and Smell the Roses

Deep in Bloom [5]

For the next week or so, I'll continue my Deep in Bloom series.

Fall is in full color here in north Idaho, but the flowers are trying hard to hang on, adding to the array of hue and scent.

I sort of like this time of year when the blooms show so many imperfections, bitten by the frost and the bugs.

Let's hear it for the garden's last hurrah!
