Day 486: At the River's Edge

I added this new photograph to Creative Journey
in my Photography section,
Root Snakes

The shifting levels of the Spokane River above the dam cause the trees at the river's edge to sometimes be close to the water and sometimes to have to reach for a drink.

These roots snake out from the trees on the shore, curling and searching for nourishment.

To me, they look like writhing snakes all tangled together.
